As the pharmacist-owner of Halifax Drug, Tiffany Francisco is dedicated to bringing genuine, community-centered care back to the heart of pharmacy. A lifelong Virginian with deep ties to Southside, Tiffany blends modern clinical expertise with the charm and personal service of an old-fashioned apothecary—something she believes every community deserves.

Tiffany earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a focus on patient-centered counseling and chronic-disease management. Over the years, she has worked in both corporate and independent pharmacy settings, gaining a strong understanding of what truly matters to patients: trust, accessibility, and being treated like a neighbor—not a number.

In founding Halifax Drug, Tiffany set out to build a pharmacy where people feel welcomed, remembered, and cared for. From medication consultations and immunizations to everyday wellness needs, she brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every interaction. Her vision includes reviving the nostalgic beauty of early apothecaries—complete with curated wellness products, apothecary-style touches, and a warm, community-friendly atmosphere.

When she’s not behind the counter, Tiffany enjoys small-town life, supporting local businesses, and spending time with family. She is proud to serve Halifax County and looks forward to caring for generations to come.

Pharmacy Operations Manager | Certified Medical Assistant

Crystal Stewart serves as Pharmacy Operations Manager, bringing more than a decade of experience in pharmacy practice and healthcare operations. Licensed as a National Certified Pharmacy Technician, she began her career with a national retail pharmacy chain, where she developed extensive expertise in workflow efficiency, regulatory compliance, medication management, and patient-centered service.

Expanding her clinical knowledge, Crystal later became a Certified Medical Assistant, strengthening her understanding of direct patient care and interdisciplinary healthcare collaboration. This dual background uniquely positions her to bridge pharmacy operations with clinical insight, ensuring both operational excellence and compassionate care.

In her leadership role within an independent pharmacy setting, Crystal focuses on building streamlined systems, developing staff, strengthening compliance standards, and creating a seamless patient experience. She is known for her attention to detail, organizational strength, and commitment to fostering a community-focused environment where both patients and team members feel supported.

Retail Operations Manager

Jill Throckmorton is a Halifax native who brings a leadership-driven and compliance-focused background to her role as a Pharmacy Technician in Training. With pharmacy experience beginning in 2024 and currently advancing her technician training since May 2025, she contributes strong operational knowledge, inventory expertise, and a deep commitment to accuracy and patient service.

As a Retail Operations Manager, Jill oversees daily workflow execution, inventory processes, team coordination, and customer service standards within a high-volume retail environment. With over a decade of retail experience, she excels in operational efficiency, staff support, and maintaining smooth, productive store performance.

Having served Halifax County for over 20 years, Jill developed extensive experience in regulatory processes, record management, and public-facing service. Her background in legal compliance, system oversight, and public service demonstrates exceptional organizational discipline and integrity. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Technology and is an active Virginia Notary Public.

As a lifelong member of the Halifax community, Jill is well known and deeply connected throughout the area. Her approachable demeanor, strong relationships, and trusted presence allow her to create meaningful connections with patients and customers alike. She is widely respected for her professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for those she serves.
